It is nearly the middle of March and the First Annual Play It Again Sports Griffin Park Open is almost here. The deadline for sponsorships is around the corner. If you would like to, or know someone who would like to sponsor the GPO, please do so with a quickness!
This tournament will set a new precedent in disc golf. We plan on focusing in on the overall quality of the tournament and experiences of the entrants, rather than the "cattle call" most tournaments abide by. Everything should run seamlessly, be professionally administered and the competition should be fierce. Not only during the round, but to enter the tournament! The field will be limited to 90 players total, on a first come, first served basis. This event is expected to fill up, so sign up on TitleDisc.com today! This event will be a PDGA Sanctioned "B" Tier tournament in it's first year, which is a rarity. Most tournaments are required to be a "C" Tier event or lower for their inauguration, unless, the Tournament Director can prove that the qualifications of a higher tier will be met. This event will also be a Regional Qualifyer for the United States Amateur Disc Golf Championship. Held in Milford, Michigan, this is the most prestigous tournament for an amateur player to be invited. The top 20% of the MA1 field (ties inclusive) who have not yet qualifyed, in the GPO will receive invitations to this elite amateur championship. The GPO fundraiser discs are now available. This years disc is a super color Z Spectra with a GPO stamp. The cost for these discs is the same as regular Z Spectra's, which is $20. To purchase one please email
